Could this be the best Pakistani place around right now? The haleem is excellent and the wok dishes are very good too. Vegetables taste fresh. Recommended. If it takes them a little long to serve you, it is because they do everything the right way from scratch.

Can you please tell me how large is La’Jawab’s seating area. I’m interested in holding a small event there but haven’t visited it personally yet.

The seating area isn’t very big–maybe 8 small tables. Its a takeout/fast-casual format, where you order at the counter and then they bring the food out. Probably only a good fit for the most informal of events. The food was excellent though, and affordable. Just don’t expect table cloths (or anything but plastic silverware.)
$20 bought more than enough food for me and another person to eat a great dinner and then another delicious dinner of leftovers the next night. At $3.50 their haleem appetizer is one of the best deals in Arlington.
This restaurant is fantastic and the only Pakistani place in the metro DC are my husband, from Peshawar, will eat at. The wok dishes are called Karahi and the lamb is particularly good. Don’t get boneless chicken- it is not the traditional way Pakistani cooks prepare chicken so it is dry. Get bone-in instead.
