That is the single best introduction to Yucatan cuisine I know of.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e9rida offers a more urbanized variant, with influences from Cuba (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com.mx\/?gfe_rd=cr&#038;ei=_GoqVcbOKqaS8QeFuYD4AQ&#038;gws_rd=ssl#q=merida+yucatan+tortas+cuba\">the tortas<\/a>) and Lebanon (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com.mx\/search?q=merida+yucatan+kibi&#038;biw=1280&#038;bih=581&#038;source=lnms&#038;tbm=isch&#038;sa=X&#038;ei=RmsqVerwI8XmoATryYB4&#038;ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ\">kibi<\/a>, which is like kibbeh). The town has many bad restaurants, go eat at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com.mx\/?gfe_rd=cr&#038;ei=8msqVc3gLKmS8Qf70oCwBQ&#038;gws_rd=ssl#q=merida+punto+y+coma\">Punto y Coma<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infinitumwebpage.mx\/loncheria-puntoycoma\/images\/Foto0010.jpg\">loncheria inside one of the markets<\/a>, taxi drivers seem to know where it is. Ask for their specialties, and don\u2019t miss Sopa de Lima.<\/p>\n<p>In Canc\u00fan, get yourself to El Centro, away from the tourist hotels. If you are stuck on the strip, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com.mx\/?gfe_rd=cr&#038;ei=kmwqVa3bMqaS8QeFuYD4AQ&#038;gws_rd=ssl#q=tempo+restaurant+cancun\">Tempo<\/a> offers ten courses for less than $50, the founder chef is from San Sebastian and I would put the quality at that of a Michelin two-star. Otherwise look for small places selling fish tacos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com.mx\/?gfe_rd=cr&#038;ei=KSsrVarGBaSS8Qf1poHYDw&#038;gws_rd=ssl#q=cenote+samula\">El cenote Samula<\/a> was created by the meteor which did in the dinosaurs, today you can swim there.
