Indian City Grill

Indian City Grill, web site, 9984 Main Street Center, Fairfax, VA, 703-385-4800 (Metro Trip Planner – opens in new window) [Yelp]
Opened in January 2009, from the folks who brought you Connaught’s. It still tastes like Connaught’s, though the new version is less upscale. It still tastes good, but a lot has happened since now and then and this place is no longer the market leader it once was.

My husband and I visited this place and had a crushed rice dish and the northern style fish. Both dishes tasted delicious, but unfortunately, my husband fell ill a couple of hours later (after having most of the fish dish) and is still sick after 2 days. I completely agree with your assessment of its atmosphere and food (taste), but be wary of its cleanliness.

service is terrible here, don’t go, they treat you like dirt.

  3. Were you aware that the management changed. New staff is younger and seemed really eager to please when I was there in January.Portions seemed a bit larger bu tasted the same. I planned to go back on Feb 13 but no one seems to answer the phone. Perhaps it’s just after-effect of snowstorm.

  4. Despite lack of phone response, I met friends at ICG for dinner tonight. I’m devastated. They are gone for good.
