Old Glory served its fare at the Barbecue Battle in June 2008. It was terrible. Their pulled pork was a close relative of elementary school cafeteria “sloppy joes”–sweet, bits of bell pepper, sticky and repulsive. They just couldn’t compare to the stuff served by the Floridian BBQ folks like “Smokin’ Rednecks”
Georgetown may be crowded and overpriced, but that’s the cost of not having to drive to some soul-crushing strip mall.
