Tel-Aviv Cafe, web site, 4867 Cordell Avenue, Bethesda, MD, 301-718-9068, hours not listed. (Metro Trip Planner – opens in new window) [WaPo | City Paper | openlist | Yelp | Gayot]
I haven’t been yet. The menu lists a mix of Mideast specialties and kabobs. Kosher, as well. The prices are not cheap, but I have the feeling the place offers a reasonable degree of quality. I’ve never been to a bad Israeli restaurant.
