A Korean bakery, and with many desserts. Must be tasted to be believed. Incredible. Go. Will appeal to the Western palate. The quality here is simply remarkably high. I usually don’t list bakeries but this place is extraordinary. Go, go, go.

I have lived in the area for 21 years and for 18 of those years i have found that Korean Bakery (the one on the corner of the K-Mart shopping center) to be consistent and good. The quiet atmosphere really makes for a great place to bring a good friend or a date. Everything there is hand made from the fillings of a anko bbang to the whip cream on any of their cakes. I proudly and gladly buy their bbang religiously. I have tried all the other places and call me old fashioned but isn’t taste at a great price everything?

Le Matin has very good bing soo…shaved ice with sweetened condensed milk poured over top, topped with a scoop of ice cream, and then flooded with various toppings.
It comes in four flavors – fruit, espresso, red bean (paht bing soo), and green tea. The fruit one is great – I counted almost 10 different fresh fruits, delicious sweet dduk, and a crunchy nut/cereal type topping with a huge dollop of whipped cream and chocolate syrup. It easily serves two.

Le Matin also has great smoothies! I had a mango and it was sooooooo smooth (no pun intended). :0)

This place is ok.. I personally was not impressed by their bingsoo.
Shilla Bakery located near here is a much better place for bing soo/ korean treats at a comparable level..
If you really wanna UPGRADE the tier of the bingsoo and treats though..go to Dolce cafe located near the pepboy (the car shop)…you’ll be blown away by their bingsoo

I was impressed with the one dessert I tried… brought home more goodies so maybe that verdict will change in the coming days!

Stopped by here and had a little chocolate mousse cake dessert that was perfect! I have pretty high standards for chocolate mousse also since it is one of my favorite desserts. I have to try more here before I can really judge it though…
